5/5/2006 Jeffrey Radel Class of 1995
I remember going to college to play baseball. I learned from the best, Dave Cindrich, Newman, Rocco, Steve O, Craig, those seniors and a few juniors.I learned that there is more to life than playing ball. I have my degree and it means a lot because its from a very good school. GO AU! Good Luck to the baseball team! JR |

I have a baseball uniform worn by my father when he was on the Ashland College (aka Ashland University) varsity baseball team in the 1930's. I believe he played baseball, football and basketball. He earned money to pay for his college education by driving Ashland College President Charles Anspaugh to and from locations where he was a featured speaker.
I would like to donate this uniform to Ashland University, if such a gift were to be accepted and utilized to display for historical or other purposes. |
7/29/2005 Cathy Chester Class of 1977 Gahanna, Ohio
I have wonderful memories of Ashland and I am thrilled to say that my daughter Lauren is a member of the class of 2005.
I remember pantie raids my freshman year and "dinks", those little beanie hats...the Rathskellar, beer on campus...Freshman mixers...Dillons Bar, behind Amstutz..there was a line to get into that gross place! Delta Zeta, the energy crisis in 1977 when student teachers had to teach in the Ashland College library when the Ashland schools closed to save energy. I was just glad that it wasn't me! I take prode in my alma mater!! |
5/1/2005 JOHN Class of 1979
It was getting close to graduation and the class had got together on a project. It was a time capsule to be opened in 40 years with each member of the class contributing something. 40 years is almost up. |
